Pledge Human
Exploring what responsible, human-centred adoption of AI could look like — and what we should protect as technology becomes more capable.
An ecosystem of projects, services and communities at the meeting point of technology, meaningful work, social justice and thriving humans.
Places and gatherings where people find each other.
community
Useful digital things, built with care.
technology
Work that's worth the hours it takes.
meaningful work
Understanding what's actually changing, and why.
social impact
Backing founders the usual pipelines miss.
entrepreneurship
People who are well enough to do good work.
thriving humans
Why we exist
The organisations we build.
The technology we choose.
The people we invest in.
The things we measure.
The behaviour we reward.
The communities we create.
They all quietly shape the future.
So we'd like to be a little more intentional about it.
Good Humans Good Work exists to explore what happens when we build businesses, technology, workplaces and communities around humans — instead of endlessly asking humans to contort themselves around systems that weren't designed for them.
We don't expect to fix everything.
But there are plenty of things worth trying.
Turns out, the future doesn't build itself.
The ecosystem
Sometimes the problem is technology. Sometimes it's strategy.
Sometimes it's funding, measurement, capability, culture, confidence, belonging or simply having someone beside you while you figure things out.
So we don't force every problem into the same solution.
Technology
Technology should make work better.
Digital strategy, products, websites, data, AI and automation for organisations and humans trying to get good work done.
We help clean up messy systems, automate the work nobody should still be doing manually, build genuinely useful digital things and make technology feel considerably less overwhelming.
Less "digital transformation journey". More "oh thank god, this finally works."
Entrepreneurship
Good ideas deserve a fairer chance.
A venture studio for founders and ideas traditional startup ecosystems too often overlook.
We work alongside thoughtful founders — particularly people who have historically had less access to capital, networks and technical resources — to turn promising ideas into sustainable ventures.
Not every great founder looks like the stereotype. Not every worthwhile company needs to become a unicorn. And not everything worth building fits neatly inside a pitch deck.
Quiet builders welcome.
Social impact
Doing good is only useful if it's actually doing good.
Strategy, impact measurement, learning and evaluation for organisations tackling complex social problems.
We help teams understand what's changing, why it matters, what they're learning and what they should do next. Because impact shouldn't just live in an annual report.
Community + thriving humans
Humans need places to breathe, too.
A space for women and gender-diverse people to work, make things, think, rest, connect and spend time around other good humans.
Part workcation. Part co-building. Part community. Part exhale.
Because sometimes what you need isn't another productivity system. It's a room where you feel comfortable enough to begin again.
Gatherings, learning + community
Conversations and gatherings around work, money, meaning, community and building life differently.
Playful, accessible technology learning designed to help people realise: “Wait. I can make that?”
Things we're curious about
Some ideas start as businesses. Some start as conversations.
Some start because we can't stop thinking: “Surely there has to be a better way?”
Good Humans Good Work is also a home for experiments, movements, communities and ideas that deserve room to exist before anyone decides exactly what they're becoming.
Exploring what responsible, human-centred adoption of AI could look like — and what we should protect as technology becomes more capable.
Exploring how we create better, safer workplaces by making the lived experience of work more visible.
Gatherings and conversations about work, money, meaning, community and building life a little differently.
Some of these will become big things. Some might not. That's what experimenting is for.
Technology affects people.
Funding affects whose ideas exist.
Workplaces affect families and communities.
Data affects what organisations pay attention to.
AI raises questions about what work is for in the first place.
Community affects whether people have somewhere to belong.
technology ↔ people
business ↔ society
capital ↔ opportunity
work ↔ wellbeing
data ↔ impact
community ↔ belonging
Sometimes Good Humans Good Work builds something.
Sometimes we help somebody else build it.
Sometimes we connect two people who should know each other.
Sometimes we lend a skill, a room, a platform or a little bit of momentum.
The point isn't who owns the work. The point is whether more good work gets done.
Get involved
We don't want to build all of this alone. Across Good Humans Good Work — and the organisations, communities and projects around us — there are always things worth helping with.
Sometimes we need a designer. Sometimes it's someone who understands grants, finance, technology, research, communications, governance, events, community building or strategy.
Sometimes someone needs an introduction. Sometimes a project needs a few hours of thoughtful help. Sometimes it needs a collaborator who wants to stick around.
We're building a network of people who want to contribute their skills to work they genuinely care about.
You don't have to care about everything we do.
Pick the problems that matter to you.
Bring what you're good at.
We'll help connect the dots.
No compulsory enthusiasm for every project required.
How we work
Technology, systems and strategy should serve people — not the other way around.
There is rarely one universal best practice. There is what makes sense for these humans, in this organisation, at this point in time.
Sometimes that's a sophisticated platform. Sometimes it's fixing the spreadsheet. We're surprisingly comfortable telling you the difference.
We would rather build capability than dependency.
Serious problems can still be approached with curiosity, creativity, humour and joy.
We're interested in meaningful progress, not performative perfection.
We don't know exactly what the next few decades will look like.
AI will change work. Climate change will change communities. Industries will disappear and new ones will emerge. The ways we organise businesses, distribute opportunity, build technology and support one another will continue to evolve.
But the future isn't something that simply happens to us. We get to participate in building it.
Good Humans Good Work is our small contribution to that work.
One organisation. One founder. One system. One gathering. One experiment. One introduction. One better decision at a time.
Maybe you need a technology partner.
Maybe you're building a company.
Maybe you're trying to understand your impact.
Maybe you want to collaborate.
Maybe you're looking for people who care about the same thing you do.
Maybe you have an idea that doesn't fit neatly into any of the above.
Tell us anyway.
Good humans welcome. Half-formed ideas also welcome.
